Emeritus Bishop Paride Taban is teaching South Sudanese 28 words for restoring lasting peace in the country.

Bishop Taban who won peace prize recently outlines love, joy, peace, patience, compassion, sympathy, unity, self-control, faith, forgiveness and humility among the 28 words for restoring lasting peace in South Sudan.

He says all things of the world like emperors will pass away, but love will remain forever.

Bishop Taban urges elderly South Sudanese who studied in the same schools to persuade people to live in harmony.

He regrets the fact that young people are not enjoying peace like the old did in the past.

Bishop Taban observes that South Sudanese are killing their own relatives in other tribes bonded by intermarriages.

The Emeritus Bishop was speaking to Jieng Council of Elders in Juba earlier this week.
