Western Lakes State Governor is urging citizens not to panic after sporadic shooting in Rumbek town on Wednesday evening.
The shooting occurred after a soldier came back from disarmament and began shooting randomly, Governor Makoi Bol tells Radio Good News.
He condemns the shooting.
Immediate investigation is underway to find out the cause, Governor Bol says.
He says peaceful disarmament in the state should be carried out without putting citizens into fear.
The governor urges people to cooperate with the security forces to control rampant insecurity.
