SCBC commends German presence in Juba amidst conflicts

The new President of the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SCBC praises the presence of German Embassy in South Sudan amidst conflicts.
 
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala made the compliments during a courtesy visit to German Ambassador, Johannes Lehne on Wednesday.
 
Bishop Hiiboro says German presence in the country speaks a lot about love for South Sudan.
 
German Ambassador, Johannes Lehne intends to explore Church peace mediation and reconciliation efforts.
 
He also wants to understand the situation of local communities in the country from the church leaders.
 
The Federal Republic of Germany is providing fast and effective aid to internally displaced persons in South Sudan and refugees in the neighbouring countries.
 
Germany is funding non-governmental organizations’ projects like AMREF, Welthungerhilfe and VSF.
