Across organization operating in Rumbek East County celebrates girls’ child Education Day on challenge pilot project.
Fons Jane Suleiman, Assistant Education officer, says Across is advocating for girls’ education support, Radio Good News report.
She adds that all girls should be enrolled into school early and continue with their studies.
The officer urges parents to educate their daughters because they will earn more cows after learning than when they are married now illiterate.
Rumbek East Acting Education Director Mangar Tur applauds Across and its partners for working hard in building the capacity of women in the county.
He urges local and national NGOs to join hands together with the government in service delivery to promote peace and stability in the society.
The celebration was attended by more than ten primary schools of Rumbek East County.
