South Sudan is on Tuesday joining the globe to celebrate International Day for Human Rights Defenders in Juba.
The commemoration, organized by UN Human Rights Division in collaboration with Soweto Community Based Organization will be with workshop.
The note CRN saw, says the meeting is expected to highlight challenges defenders face, human rights promotion and protection.
The workshop will look at strategies to create conducive environment for human rights to engage stakeholders in protecting it.
The celebration is expected to bring many human rights players and top government officials together.
