A man died of a snake bite in Farish area of Kumbur Payam, Hieban County in Nuba Mountains.
Khamis Fadul Jarban was bitten on his foot at about 8:00 PM on Sunday and died at 5:00 AM on Monday, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
A relative of the deceased, Kasha Abdallah Jarban, expressed grief about his cousin’s death.
He explained that people tried to give him some drugs at a local shop, but died as he could not reach the hospital earlier.
The late is survived by two wives and three children.
