JMEC appeals to President Kiir to disseminate peace among all communities

The head of Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission or JMEC appealed to President Salva Kiir to spread peace to all communities of the country.
 
Festus Mogae on Tuesday in his opening remarks in a meeting said the only thing South Sudanese need right now is peace.
 
A nationwide campaign of visits and speeches of togetherness, forgiveness and a unified future should be done, he advises.
 
The agreement remains JMEC best hope and opportunity to make progress towards a sustainable peace, says the Chairman.
 
He recognizes progress being made in the agreement amidst unsafe security and humanitarian situation.
 
Mogae observes that South Sudanese need resolution of political differences to bring about a real prospect of peaceful and sustainable national development.
