Governor of Yei River State urges Lujulo County Commissioner, Toti Jacob to reconsider his decision of resigning from the job.

David Lokonga Moses made the appeal after receiving notification that the commissioner has resigned over human rights violations against his people, Radio Easter reports.

He appeals to the commissioner to return and join his colleagues in the state government to work for peace.

Governor Lokonga says the state government is working closely with the civil population to establish the killers of innocent civilians.

He condemns the killing of civilians in cold blood describing it ‘evil’ and ‘painful’.

Lokonga was speaking during the swearing of new Deputy Governor and two commissioners on Friday.

Radio Easter efforts to reach the Lujulo County Commissioner for confirmation failed.
