The Governor of Gok State on Thursday relieved Ministers of Education and Information, in what appears to be the beginning of government shakeup one year after its establishment.
Madhang Majok Meen removed Victoria Akur Jongkuch of Education and John Madol Panther of Information Ministry, Radio Good News reports.
It came a day after Information Minister Madol Panther dismissed rumors of resignation, accusing unnamed officials of working towards his replacement.
Governor Majok also fired the Commissioner of Headquarters and General Secretary of Gok State.
He however appointed John Kachuol Ruop as State Director of Relief and Rehabilitation Commission RRC.
