Move in groups to avoid mysterious disappearance of individuals in the town, Yei River Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement encourages citizens.
Yongule Athanasius Lojojo told the press that they realized that the displaced people who go to their farms alone are either killed or arrested by unknown gunmen, Radio Easter reported.
He encourages the people to have hope as ‘it is very unfortunate that the situation in the area has changed’.
He spoke on Wednesday after the tragic event that claimed twelve lives of innocent civilians in Yei town.
