Gok State Minister of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports refuted rumours that he resigned from duties in the one-year-old government.
John Madol Panther in a telephone interview from Juba says he was surprised by many people calling him to inquire about his alleged resignation, Radio Good News reports.
The minister says he neither has any intention to resign nor differences with the state Governor.
He tells the rumour mongers to drop their gossips as he was only in Juba for private issues.
The Minister points fingers at the so-call interest groups who are lobbying for positions in the upcoming cabinet reshuffle.
‘These are people who are actually looking for my position’, he says.
The Spokesperson says he is in Juba for three days on private mission, but will return to Gok State soon.
