Agar community abroad condemns recent fighting in Maper

Agar community and Rumbek Peace Initiative Groups in Diaspora strongly condemn the recent fighting that resulted in the loss of lives between Gak and Manuer in Rumbek North County of Western Lakes State.
 
In a joint statement Radio Good News saw, Rumbek Diasporas and the groups lead by Abraham Maker Machut extend their condolences to families of the victims.
 
The groups also wish the wounded people quick recovery and call for calm to return to the area as the government brings peace, stability and reconciliation.
 
‘We are 100 percent supporting the government of Western Lakes State in bringing peace and reconciliation’, say Rumbek Peace Initiative, Deputy Chairman, Wal Peter Muorayar and Secretary-General Dut Mapuor.
 
Western Lakes State Peace Initiative Groups in the United States of America, Australia, Canada and all Rumbek Peace Groups in Diaspora participated in this year peace process in Rumbek.
