House-to-house polio vaccination has begun in different areas of Lokiliri County of Jubek State, says Commissioner.
George Ladu Wani told Radio Bakhita that the campaign that take three weeks to cover the whole area, targets 500 children from zero to five years.
Ladu advises parents to bring their children for vaccination to avoid diseases as immunization is the only way of overcoming polio.
He urges them to put aside their traditional medicines and use the medical ones.
Polio immunization campaign started on Tuesday countrywide.
