Missionary priests in Yei Catholic Diocese are planning to serve South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
Fr Francis Joseph, former parish priest of Holy Family Parish in Lainya says he visited some South Sudanese refugees in Yumbe District of Uganda.
He says plans and efforts are underway to help the refugees.
Fr Francis says their religious congregations ‘are so much concerned’ about serving South Sudanese.
Fr Francis, a missionary of the Congregation of Divine Word, advises South Sudanese to embrace love for one another.
Never lose hope in the search for peace in enduring challenges, he advises.
Meanwhile, Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit appeals to missionary congregations and Christians outside the country to pray for peace in South Sudan.
The catholic priests were speaking during Morning Prayer at Christ the King Cathedral on Friday.
