The Ministry of General Education on Wednesday launched a nine-month leadership and professional training to cover about 17,600 primary school instructors.
The new project known as Accredited Professional School Certificate Inspection courses seeks to boost the country’s early education sector, Radio Bakhita reported.
The initiative aims at improving the quality of education before the launch of the new curriculum in 2018, says Omot Okony Olok, Director-General of Quality Education and Standards in the ministry.
About 250 head teachers and school inspectors are gathered in Juba to start the massive training that is done on long distance basis.
