Civilians displaced after the conflict in February in Boma State are returning home, says South Sudan Red Cross SSRC.
SSRC Branch Director in the State David Gai told Radio Bakhita that the displaced persons lost their belongings during the conflict in the area.
He added that the environment is not safe for living as there are limited health services, lack of shelter and clean drinking water.
Gai encourage humanitarian partners to double their efforts to assist those affected by the conflict.
He says they are working at all levels to handle the situation.
Gai says they are currently carrying out cleaning campaign to promote sanitation in the area.
The City Council members, the Deputy Governor and the local citizens joined the team in ensuring proper sanitation in the state, he adds.
