Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei appealed to South Sudanese to renew their hearts through acceptance of mistakes, forgiveness and reconciliation.
Fr Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit told Christians during a fasting and prayer for peace to abandon evil deeds including killings and looting, Radio Easter reported.
He called for respect of law and order in the country for stability and harmony to prevail.
‘Where righteousness and heart exist, there is beauty of characters’, the Vicar General said.
