The Leader of Minority in the National Legislative Assembly has warned the neighbouring countries against siding with a particular warring party.
MP Onyoti Adigo Nyikwech says siding with one party of South Sudan conflict will intensify fighting in the country.
He says siding in conflict situation is not peacemaking and will even affect stability in the region.
The Leader of Minority believes Kenya was guided by emotions in deporting SPLM/A-In-Opposition spokesman, James Gatdet Dak following the dismissal of Kenyan UN Peacekeeping Commander from South Sudan.
MP Adigo says the UN Force Commander failed as an individual not Kenya as a nation.
He describes Kenya’s threats to pullout from peacekeeping and mediating process as ‘unfortunate’, expecting Kenya to reverse its emotional decision.
The Member of Parliament says the 11 Kenyan MPs who visited Juba recently did not meet him.
He says he was ready to discuss with them the position of South Sudan lawmakers on the recurrent conflict.
The 11 Kenyan MPs led by Ashman Kamama, the Chairperson of National Security Committee said they met President Salva Kiir and First Vice President Taban Deng Gai in Juba.
