Authorities in Rejaf County in Jubek State arrested two suspects for destroying farms in the area.
Farmers in the area complain that armed men entered the area and started cutting down the crops on the farms on Friday, Radio Bakhita reports.
Meanwhile, Rejaf County Commissioner George Wani Jangara says he reported the incident to the high authorities.
He urged the communities in the area to remain calm as they investigate the matter.
Recently Commissioner Jangara appeals to communities in the area to return home.
