Wau Mayor blames chiefs over insecurity in Bazia Jadid

The Mayor of Wau Municipality has finger pointed at chiefs over insecurity, saying they are not doing enough in providing information to government.
 
Mel Aleu Goch apportions the blame to chiefs during a meeting, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
But, Natale Augustino Zaland, the Chief of Momoi area says armed men in uniform are the one robbing people’s property.
 
He wonders how Wau town will look like should they also be forced to leave.
 
Carlo Albino, the Chief of Costi B requests Wau Mayor to speed up the deployment of joint military police.
 
The joint military personnel will also involve the police of the residential area.
 
The meeting comes shortly after the killing of three young men last week in Bazia Jadid.
 
A committee has been formed to investigate the matter, an official has disclosed.
