Journalists in South Sudan say it is too bad to kill or torture anybody against freedom of press and expression protected in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
 
Bogere Charles, a journalist in Juba urges authorities in the country to change their actions of killing or torturing journalists.
 
He says freedoms of expression and press are meant to change people’s mindsets and behaviours.

He cautions journalists to be objective, professional and responsible in writing stories as they continue to operate.
 
Modi warns journalists against hate speech and biasness based on tribal lines which are unprofessional.
 
The statements followed the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists on Wednesday.
