Experts from United Nations agencies are training volunteers in Yei for the rapid emergency intervention for the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs.
UNICEF Nutrition Officer, Anita Khamis Alexander, says the agencies have different intervention sections including water and sanitation, health, nutrition, shelter, food security and protection, Radio Easter reports.
One of the volunteers, Augustine Lunguli hopes an urgent intervention by the humanitarian agencies for the most vulnerable especially women and children will prevent malnutrition.
The two-day training which started on Thursday was concluded this Friday.
