The Provincial Secretary for Western Equatoria Internal Province has called on Christians to support and own the new church province.
Reverend Tito Taban Ringanza says the initiation of the province is for the benefit of the general public in providing education, support for widows, orphans and evangelization of the gospel, Radio Anisa reports.
He cites financial constraint as one of the challenges for running the new province.
Reverend Taban calls on government and non-governmental organizations to work together with Western Equatoria Internal Province.
He urges Christians to support the inauguration of the Archbishop elect, Peter Munde Yakobo on December 7 to 11, 2016.
Western Equatoria Internal Province is the first in Episcopal Church in South Sudan and the second in Sudan.
It covers six Dioceses of Ezo, Nzara, Yambio, Ibba, Maridi and Olo.
Episcopal Church Archbishop, Dr Daniel Deng Bull declared Western Equatoria Internal Province earlier this month.
