A priest in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba says since South Sudan has leading youth population, it is supposed to grow faster in prevalence of peace.

Fr Erkolano Lodu Tombe says a country without youth is dead, Radio Bakhita reports.

He adds that young people have a big role to play spiritually and politically.

Fr Erkolano reminds seminarians in the country to be ready to use their energy for the good of others.

He was speaking to St Joseph’s youth on Monday while celebrating St Anthony Day.
