The International Committee of the Red Cross has distributed food items including biscuits and super cereals to 3,200 households of the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in Yei.
Cyril Jaurena, the Head of Office for Equatoria says the food distribution was targeting the most vulnerable IDPs, Radio Easter reports.
The beneficiaries thank the International Committee of the Red Cross for the assistance.
The IDPs call on other humanitarian organizations to urgently rescue the lives of civilians facing difficulties in conflict situations.
They complain of lack of enough food.
The displaced people were speaking at one of the distributions centres in Christ the King compound.
