Traders of various markets complained that there are many check points on feeder roads connecting Wau with other states.
Traders attribute continuous increment of prices in the markets to presence of many check points and a lot of taxes along roads, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Finance Minister Akol Majok assures the traders that the state government is ready to close any illegal check points to help reduce fluctuation of prices in markets.
The speakers made the remarks during traders meeting with deputy governor on Monday in Wau.
