Science students demand practical science exams

Science students in Dr John Garang Memorial Secondary School urge both the national and state Ministries of Education to promote practical science for better understanding and performance.
 
One of the students complains that she did not experience any practical since she joined the school in 2013.
 
She regrets that she may not know practical.
 
The student adds that the aparatus are becoming old and the chemicals have expired.
 
The other student says it is very important for learners to do practical to understand easily.
 
‘Since I join senior one, I did not do any practical and if now come by abruptly, I will not be able to do it because I never do it and in University also, I may also go and fail because I never do practical’.
 
Another student says some students may take long to understand theory.
 
Imoya Magaret Albino urges the State and national ministry of education to improve the science subjects, by introducing practical examinations and equipping schools laboratories across South Sudan.
 
Amato Kanis, is the head teacher of Dr John Garang Memorial Secondary School. He says there is need for South Sudan to include examinations on science practical.
