A lorry carrying maize bags and twenty-one passengers traveling from Lobone to Juba via Magwi overturned and killed at least seven people with fourteen others critically injured.
Survivor, Achiro Jennifer, says the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Santiago David, a Medical Clinical Officer in Magwi Health Centre, says seven people were confirmed dead and 14 injured.
He adds that most of those injured require further medical attention.
According to eyewitness, Lagu Joseph Juma, the incident happened at around 10: AM.
Igga Francis, Traffic Police Officer in Magwi, says the force is investigating the incident.
