Tonj Municipality Council is launching general cleaning campaign on Monday to be conducted every Thursday from next week onwards.
Tonj Mayor Joseph Anei Madoor said they resolved to carry out general cleaning at all blocks and the two main market of Tonj town, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He adds that they also agreed that every citizen will carry out house to house cleaning to minimize diseases.
He says organize forces will be invited to assist to ensure that the general cleaning is carried forward.
The Mayor issued an order banning agricultural activities inside the town,.
