A former commissioner for Abujebiaya in the Nuba Mountains urges the community to uphold religious tolerance.
Musa Kocho says no one should claim and exaggerate religious differences to extremism, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He says no one should be hated for ones religion since it is not the culture of the people of the Nuba Mountains.
The former commissioner says religious differences are real challenges of marginalisation in the region.
Mr Kocho has criticized the rising prices of commodities and defended the idea that prices should be reduced.
He has called people to avoid greed by selling one chicken for 200 pounds.
The commissioner calls on the community to help authority fight the mounting inflation in the region.
