Allowing cheating in exams is not professional, says Juba head teacher

It is against education ethics for any teacher to allow students cheat in examinations, says the head teacher of Juba Diocesan Model Secondary School.

Kei Robert tells CRN in an interview relying on cheating for passing examinations is a bad practice making irresponsible citizens of South Sudan.

He adds that Juba Diocesan Model Secondary School discourages the bad practice of cheating exams to pass.

The head teacher urges educators to condemn cheating in exams all over the country for credible professionalism and sound citizenship.

Robert says students fail examinations due to lack of preparation.

Some schools do not complete the syllabus, making students to find strange questions during exams, he says.

Students must be disciplined to excel in examination, the head teacher advises.

He observes that discipline is the key to success in Juba Diocesan Model Secondary School.

The head teacher says parents and teachers should give equal opportunities to boys and girls for them to succeed in education.
