Yei River Council of Ministers in its meeting on Thursday approved the new salary structure for civil servants in the state.
The increment followed a memo raised by the State Acting Minister of Finance, Huda Micah Laila regarding budget ceiling and 2016-2017 fiscal budget, Radio Easter reports.
State Government spokesperson’ Stephen Lado Onesimo says the circular from the national Ministry of Human Resource, says the ‘budget should be prepared based on the new salary structure for the civil servants’.
Mr Lado adds that the new payment structure will be ‘incorporated in the new budget’ so that civil servants manage the current situation.
Governor David Lokonga Moses chaired the Council of Ministers’ meeting on Thursday.
