Vote out underperforming leaders in the 2018 elections, Clement Wani Konga, Presidential Advisor Special Affairs tells citizens in Yei.

He wonders why some politicians love citizens much more during time of elections’ campaigns than in the service term, Radio Easter reports.

The advisor reminds fellow leaders to promote visits to their own people in all times.

Juba Paramount Chief, Dennis Daramallo Kundi agrees that leaders should work tirelessly for the interests of the citizens above theirs.

Both leaders believe visiting and talking directly to the people help leaders hear the cries of their own people and in return give the right services to them.

He was speaking in a public rally in Yei early this week where none of the parliamentarians representing Yei in the National Legislative Assembly allegedly attended.

It was not clear why none of the MPs failed to attend.
