The Governor of Yei River State, David Lokonga Moses issued a gubernatorial order to commercial banks and other financial institution’s to resume normal operations.
The order read by the State Spokesperson, Stephen Lodu Onesimo directs officials of all financial institutions who fled to the neighbouring countries or other parts of South Sudan to immediately report for duties, Radio Easter reports.
The order states that bank officials who will fail to turn up within ‘ten working days’ will lose their jobs.
The order is effective from Thursday, the day of its signature.
