The team of Holy Cross Parish Kauda defeated Sts Peter and Paul Parish 1-0 in a sisterly football match on Sunday in the Nuba Mountains.
The two teams ended with 0-0 draw in the first half, but Holy Cross managed to score one goal in the second round of the game, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
In another news development, Kurumba Secondary School football beat St Joseph Secondary School 2-1 at Kauda playground on Saturday evening.
In the first round both teams ended with 1-1 draw after Saint Joseph missed 4 goals.
Kurumba team scored the second and its winning goal in 35th minute of the second half.
