The refugee UN agency is working to get as many refugees as they can, for scholarship under Albert Einstein German Academic Refugee Initiative Fund.
UNHCR tells CRN that it has selected ten refugees coming from Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to be awarded higher education scholarships.
The students will begin their courses on 17 October in Juba.
The refugees are picked from different areas within South Sudan, including Juba, Yambio, Ajuong Thok in Unity and Maban refugee camps in Upper Nile.
In refugee camps across South Sudan, UNHCR together with partners is already offering primary and secondary education to refugees.
