A heavy rain with thunder on Thursday burnt house into ashes at Nazareth residential area, South of Wau town.
Mr Santino Dut told Radio Voice of Hope in a telephone interview that his house contained 4 sacks of groundnuts, bed sheets and mattress.
The burnt groundnuts and the bed total are over 10,000 South Sudanese Pounds apart from other things, he estimates.
Dut says the lady who was in the house is safe, but still traumatized.
