Students and teachers of Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology are joyful over 2015-2016 results of South Sudan Secondary Certificate exams.
The College emerged the best in the Gbudue State and second top in South Sudan, according to State Education Minister, Pia Phillip Michael on Thursday, Radio Anisa reported.
He confirmed that Gbudwe is the second best performing state in the national exams with 99 percent passed.
The Minister appreciated the efforts made by the teachers and parents to produce the best results.
Fr Joseph Migidi, Principal of Bishop Abangite College, appreciated the students on the best performances.
He urged the government to increase teachers’ salaries and sponsor their training opportunities to realize quality educating in the nation.
All the ten secondary schools in Gbudwe State performed well in the national exams this year.
The first student in the country was from Bishop Abangite College in 2014-2015 exams, now studying Medicines in one of the Universities in Kigali, Rwanda.
