United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS on Tuesday donated scholastics materials bearing peace messages to Morsak and Sindiru Primary Schools of Lobonok County.

The items include T-shirts, exercise books, pens, mathematical sets, water battles and five balls.

‘The exercise books have peace messages to raise awareness in the minds of pupils, says John Ugolo, UNMISS Representative.

The Representative pleads to the conflicting parties to bring peace to the country for children to study in a harmonious environment.

UNMISS donated the materials to Morsak and Sindiru Primary Schools because they were looted during the recent crisis, says Dr Wani Sule, Jubek State Minister of Education.

The recent conflict seriously affected schools because scholastic materials were all looted and others were burnt to ashes.
