The Director of Wildlife in Tonj State has disclosed that the wildlife forces deployed to protect animals in the forest are engaged in random killing of animals.

Andrea Mabior Thon warns that he will replace the forces with army from other area, Radio Don Boco reports.

He reports that his office has registered the poachers and that they will be brought to book soon.

‘We arrest those who are against the rules of wildlife and we will continue arresting them’: Mr Mabior insist.

He pledges to recruit only young men in the new budget to rescue the wildlife.

Mr Mabior observes that the few forces he has, are only old men and women, making it difficult to deploy them.

He says the national government has directed them not to give any approval letter for killing wild animals.
