St Michael’s Chapel of St Joseph’s Parish in Juba have commemorated their patron saints day in sorrow due to the death of Fr Peter Loro Bambu.

The feast was marked under the theme: ‘Waging peace through love, forgiveness and reconciliation’, Radio Bakhita reports.

At least less than hundred faithful turned up for the holy mass in the afternoon and majority attended the burial of late Fr Loro in Rejaf.

Hillary Morbe Anthony, Parish Priest presided over the Eucharistic Celebration.

In his homily, he calls on the congregation to emulate the Archangels, who stand before God to execute the programs of healing, protection and salvation.

Fr Morbe wonders why the country and the World are full of evil deeds.

He says evil manifested itself in different levels, including killing, destruction and hatred.

The Parish Priest calls on those who are wounded spiritually to seek for God’s help.
