Catholic Archdiocese of Juba mourns death of Fr Peter Loro

The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba is mourning the death of Fr Peter Loro.
 
In a statement to Bakhita Radio, the Vicar General, Fr Gabriel Asida says, late Fr Loro died at 1:30 AM in Niarobi Kenya.
 
He says the late had been sick for the past few years, urging the faithful to pray for the family.
 
Late Fr loro was born in 1968 at Gowdiang, Kerpeto in Southern Bari, the first born to Vincenzio Mori Legge and Elizabeth Yangi Loro.
 
He joined St Mary’s Minor Seminary in 1994 in Torit and completed Senior Secondary School in Juba at the same Seminary in 1989.
 
The late was promoted to study philosophy in St Paul’s Major Seminary at Munuki.
 
He graduated in theological studies, 1996 in Khartoum and was later ordained as a priest on 8th, 1996 by Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro.
 
Late Fr Loro was also appointed as assistant parish priest of Rajaf.
 
In 2002, he was nominated as Secretary General of the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ conference.
 
His last assignment was serving as parish priest of St Joseph’s Parish after finishing his studies in Rome.
