Hummingbird Action for Peace and Development train for two days on community mapping, conflict resolution and land rights in Yambio and Nzara County, Managing Director confirms.
Minaid Peter Jamus says the exercise will take place in Bazongua Payam and Kasia in Yambio County, Radio Anisa reports.
He adds that other four marked areas in Nzara County respectively will also be mapped.
Peter reveals that the program is targeting the communities and farmer groups to identify the resources in the community and eventually to help them with knowledge and skills.
Singbagbe Stella Simon, community facilitator, confirms that so far they managed to resolved land dispute between the community of Mborizanga and Equatoria Teak Company in Nzara County.
She says rebuilding relationship carried in residential areas in Yambio town, they identified hundreds orphans who lost their families during recent conflicts in Gbudue State.
Bamuke Natale Faustino, another facilitator says the program has benefited the communities because they were able to resolve their differences amicably.
He warns some Organizations that just go and occupy land in the community without the land lords benefiting from the program carried in their locality.
