‘Let us get united’, priest tells citizens

South Sudanese people need to stay united and use the language of peace at this hard time, advises Parish Priest of Christ the King Cathedral of Yei Catholic Diocese.
 
Fr Tom Poru Martin says it is time for South Sudan tribes to forgive one another and leave acts of revenge and intimidations, Radio Easter reports.
 
He stresses the need for the forces and civilians build trust and healthy relationship.
 
Fr Poru asks South Sudanese to pray for the leaders to sincerely work for the interest of the public.
 
He adds that citizens should not curse the leaders because God will not accept.
 
The Catholic priest was preaching at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
