Youth accused of night robbery and sexual assault in Rumbek

Many citizens of Akuach and Malualbab areas are complaining of night robbery being carried out by suspected cattle keepers living nearby Rumbek town.
 
An anonymous source told Radio Good News on Wednesday that he was held at gun point by a group of five youth demanding money and telephones for his safety.
 
The 47-year-old man appealed to the state government to protect its citizens from internal harassment carried out by youth at night.
 
Malualbab become one of the villages where people are being forced into their houses to sleep early before eight o’clock.
 
Local Government Minister Makuer Mabor Nak instructed Commissioners and Payam Directors to tell the youth not to loot people’s property.
 
Early this month, citizens in Rumbek complain on randomly shooting and movement of cattle which threaten people’s life in town.
