Five family members on Tuesday were shot dead at Kpirabe residential area in Yambio County of Gbudwe State.
Police Investigation Officer, Emmanuel Fidel Nyikayo, confirmed to Radio Anisa that the Sabino Garsiano, his wife Nako John and their three children were killed inside their rooms, Radio Anisa reported.
He said a seven-year old girl who escaped with a wounded hand is undergoing medical attention at Yambio State Hospital.
The officer confirmed that security personnel managed to arrest one suspect in connection with incident of Hai Kpirabe and is now under police investigation.

In a separate incident, unknown armed people broke into another house at Hai Bakindo and found a man with his wife and shot the wife.
The woman is under surgical attention at Yambio Hospital.
