The Catholic Bishop of Tombura/Yambio has expressed worries over unnecessary killings of people in Gbudue State by unidentified armed people.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala in his homily on Sunday at St Mary Yambio Parish said two choir members of St Josephine Bakhita Yabongo Parish were shot dead as they were going for funeral, Radio Anisa reported.
Last week three people including a Boda-boda rider were killed in separate incidents in Yambio.
Bishop Hiiboro advised people not to kill one another because life is a precious gift from God.
He calls on citizens to unite, denounce killing of human beings and work hard for peace in Gbudue State particularly and South Sudan in general.
