Hundreds of Christians from Our Lady of Fatima Maridi Catholic Parish on Sunday celebrated the return of Fr Phillip Bingo Gamunzu to serve the Church again.
Earlier this year the Government of Maridi State appointed Fr Phillip Bingo as the first minister of Physical Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Radio Anisa reported.
Wani Angelo, Parish Information Officer said the congregations warmly received Fr Bingo after being working with the state government for the last seven months.
The priest urged the faithful to resolve their differences in a peaceful way and share their problem among themselves.
Maridi State Governor, African Monday, on August 22 relieved the Catholic Priest from government duties.
