Heavy floods resulting from continuous rainfalls interrupt the road repair, affecting movements of vehicles along Rumbek-Yirol roads and other states of Bahr El Ghazal.
Minister of Physical Infrastructure, Ezekiel Thiang Mangar, says the Ministry is working hard to ensure that roads are passable, Radio Good News reported.
He disclosed a plan to upgrade the roads within Rumbek town including the airport highway after finishing levelling potholes at Bahr-Naam.
Other companies will repair Rumbek North and Wulu roads during the dry season, the Minister added.
This year heavy rainfalls cause serious flood, cutting off transport between Rumbek and Yirol.
