Catholic choir members held a two-day peace prayer at St Mary Diabio Centre of Naandi Parish in Tombura/Yambio Diocese.
Gordom Mboribie Angelo, Naandi Catholic Parish Information Officer, told Radio Anisa that the youth prayed for the lives lost during the insecurity in Gbudue State.
John Yambio Diabio, youth chairperson called on fellow members to imitate Jesus Christ by having mercy on others and to work for peace in the area.
Yambio said the young people during the occasion, raised over two thousand South Sudanese Pounds for building permanent prayer centre.
Phillip Duakiti, Naandi Payam Deputy Payam Administrator, urged the youth to go back to school to become future leaders.
This is the second prayer for peace, youth of Diabio Catholic Centre organized.
